The challenges of low light performance and dynamic range have been the driving force to deliver better solutions with smaller pixel size sensors, from 4.2 µm to the latest 2.1 µm. The high dynamic range (HDR) LED flicker mitigation (LFM) super exposure(SE) technology addresses the ever-increasing use of flickering LEDs. With onsemi latest 8 MP 2.1 µm pixel sensor, it can achieve ten times better HDR LFM capabilities than the previous generation and up to 155 dB dynamic range.
